Business or Marketing related education or experience. The ideal candidate is a hardworking, entrepreneurial self-starter. Graphic design abilities and Chinese are a plus. Could lead to partnership for the right person.

Part-time Sales Representatives

Location: Taipei, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Chiayi, Pingtung, Kenting

Pay: Commision-based

Commitment: 5-10hrs per week

Duties:
Generate sales leads, manage accounts, transfer money, issue reciepts, and secure advertising materials.

Requirements
* Must be motivated and presentable.

Managing Editor

Commitment: Approx 10-15 hours per week

Duties: Solicit submissions, communicate with writers, assign stories, and plan issues.  Manage a team of editors and edit stories.  Write regular features.  Write articles when necessary.  Manage advertising sales and accounts and coordinate ad design with the Creative Director.  To finish all work on a deadline.

Requirements
*  Background in editing/professional writing is required.
*  Knowledge of Microsoft Access/Excel preferred.
*  Advertising/sales experience is a plus.
*  Ability to finish work on a deadline is a must.

Creative Director

Commitment: Approx 5 hours per week (slightly more around print time)

Duties
Assign projects and deadlines to a team of photographers and artists to secure images to accompany articles, and create original artwork when necessary. Coordinate a team of designers as they individually create pages and then to incorporate the pages into the final product, and to design pages as necessary.  Design ads.  To finish all work on a deadline. 

Requirements
*  A strong background in art/graphic design required
*  A strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign or familiarity with layout programs and a willingness to learn is required. 
*  Knowledge of Adobe CS2 is preferred.
*  Experience in print layout is a plus.
*  Ability to finish work on a deadline is a must.

Web Editor (Webmaster)

Commitment: Approx 5 hours per week (slightly more around print time).

Duties:  Create pages within a given design template, add new sections to the website and update existing pages periodically.

Requirements
*  Experience in web design is required.
*  Strong working knowledge of Dreamweaver/Fireworks is required.
*  Knowledge of html coding and/or Flash is a plus.
*  Ability to finish work on a deadline is a must.
